01Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- your Google account email address,
- your Google account user ID (a unique identifier), and
- your display name.
On our servers we also store:
- your game progress and account state (team, roster, matches, leaderboard rating, in-game currency and items), and
- your in-game preferences and settings.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your device identifiers, your browsing activity outside the Game, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
02How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- create and maintain your account;
- synchronise your progress across your devices;
- match you with opponents and run matches, drafts, leagues, and tournaments;
- display your manager/team name on leaderboards (we never show your email); and
- send you essential service messages about your account or the Game.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
04Purchases
Five Stack is free to play. If and when we offer optional purchases (such as cosmetic items) and you choose to buy one, the purchase is processed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, which act as the seller for that transaction. We receive a confirmation that a purchase was made and which item to grant, but we never see or store your card or payment details. Virtual items and currency have no real-world cash value and are governed by our Terms of Service.
05International Data Transfer
We are based in Australia, but our servers and some service providers are located in the United States. This means your personal information is stored and processed overseas (in the United States), where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using Five Stack, you consent to your information being transferred to and handled in the United States.
06Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time:
- in-game via the account/settings screen, or
- on the web at https://fivestackgame.com/delete-account.
When you delete your account, we immediately remove or anonymise your personal information (including your email and Google user ID) and delete your leaderboard entries, and we instruct our sign-in provider to delete your authentication record. Any residual backups are purged within 30 days. Unspent in-game currency and items are forfeited on deletion.
You can also email dev@fivestackgame.com to request deletion, and we will action it within 30 days.
07Your Rights
You may ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- withdraw your consent.
Contact dev@fivestackgame.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a region with specific privacy laws (such as the EU/UK or California), those rights also apply to you. You may also complain to a relevant privacy regulator — in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
08Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication through trusted providers, and access controls on our servers. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify affected users and authorities as required by law if a serious data breach occurs.
09Children
Five Stack is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact dev@fivestackgame.com.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in-game. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
